Moving beyond a regional context to become Responsible for the business architecture, design and operating model of Danone’s marketing and digital ecosystems supporting hundreds of Danone brands across the globe. Delivering global digital programmes while ensuring measurable growth against our brands.
JULY 2019
Working with a team of global ID representatives, I took point in making sure inclusion and diversity were driven across the cluster. This would include the execution of I&D events, focus weeks and planning the 2020 Pride activation.
2024 – Following a strong business case demonstrated through the data strategy rollout, this would see the region unlocking the value of 1st party data.
12-month Milestones included:
2023 – Included first and second party data acquisition & value mapping, cross brand/business area activation opportunities and the deployment of a shared consent model.
Key wins included:
2023 – Scope included 6 existing AEM sites with over 7.5 million sessions/year and the new migration of 7 new sites from legacy tech, bringing the total sessions served to 8 million. Migration included the deployment of a new development center in North Macedonia.

2020 -Bringing a global codebase under our direct control to drive much needed agility and a more feature-rich, high performing platform for our consumers.

2019 – Programme deployment across 2 of Danone’s largest CRM programmes. Responsible for technical oversight and delivery of a powerful technology backbone that delivers both technical needs while enabling key business marketing priorities.

2017 – Key member of the GDPR Leadership team, responsible for ensuring GDPR compliance across the UK & Ireland by May 2018. Responsibilities included:
2016 – Integrated WhatsApp as a fully managed service channel within the company contact centre. Working with newly available technology, aim was to allow consumers to connect to on their own terms, through preferred channels. Resulted in a strategic 20% uplift in contact volumes with no attrition. Role was IS lead. Responsibilities included:
2016 – Supported Danone’s Advanced Medical Nutrition division’s move to AWS. The division was one of the first in Danone to start using AMN as an infrastructure backbone. Role was IS lead. Responsibilities included:
2016 -Launched a new enterprise social platform in Danone: Workplace by Facebook. Danone was selected as one of the 140 companies to pilot Workplace and the UK & Ireland was the first cluster to go live in the Groupe Danone. Role was IS lead. Responsibilities included:
2016 -First use of container hosting model in the UK for lightandfree.com (using Docker technology). Based on AWS technology and moving away from agency-hosting, made the recommendation to host this platform on the groups shared hosting service. Role was IS lead. Responsibilities included:
2015 – A first for Danone, the inception of a data management platform to provide targeted cross-channel behavioural marketing. Deployed across 3 UK divisions: Early Life Nutrition, Dairy and Waters. Role was IS lead with array of responsibilities while the business navigated through these uncharted territories. Responsibilities included:
2015 – Partnered with prominent event experience marketing company QuickMobile to bring Groupe Danone an event management app that could be used around the world, from small team-meeting style events to those bringing large numbers of Danone’s 100,000 employees together. Project lead. Responsibilities included:
2015 – Project launching the new consumer facing website at www.danone.co.uk from conception to go-live. IS lead with various responsibilities. These included cross-functional collaboration between Danone’s French HQ, French agencies assigned to the project, UK agencies brought in to assist, four UK divisions and various cross-functional departments such as Sourcing & Selection, Corporate Affairs, Legal & Regulatory. Responsibilities included:
2015 – First brand launch for ELN division in over ten years. Role was an IS lead working closely with brand teams in the marketing function, legal & regulatory teams and various UK agencies supporting the launch. Responsibilities included:
2014 – Complete call centre migration from in-house solution based in the South West to third party solutions provider based in London including the deployment of a new CRM platform. Time sensitive project involving various UK agencies, Danone’s HQ in France and multiple departments across the three divisions that the call centre serves. IS lead with various responsibilities including:
2013 – Placed 11th out of thousands of applicants in the Top 50 Companies for Customer Service index – a prestigious award recognising outstanding customer service. As Connections Manager, responsibilities included:
